But that doesn’t mean that search engines consider the exact keyword match, That is how some websites are easily able to rank in the first place of Google without even mentioning the focus keyword once in the content. So it means Google is smart enough to understand the relevancy of the content or the relevancy of the content with respect to the user search intent.

So, for example,

If you have a cupcake bakery and you want to promote that by organic SEO for various search engines, you cannot focus on keywords like Cupcake recipes, because Google or any search engine is smart enough to understand the user search intent

that it is about the recipe, not the local business that you are trying to promote. So in order to promote your cupcake recipe bakery, you need to write content around the bakery or the local business.

So the first step to get a good relevancy score for any search engine is to understand what is our target keyword and how we can make out a user search intent to write a better content around that keyword so that we can write as much informative post as possible and by informative.

We definitely do not mean that long articles are relevant, but the content which provides relevant and related information about the focus keyword or the user search intent are actually considered as relevant content and ranked better in search engine results.

So in order to write a relevant content, and in order to get a better relevancy score for your content, you need to do the following steps.

So the first step is to improve the relevancy of your content is to understand your focus keyword and then break that keyword into a different form of search intent.

As mentioned here, the keyword can be informational navigational, commercial usage, or transactional keyword. So once you have decided what should be your target keyword, make sure you try to break that keyword in different long tail keywords, which are targeting the user search intent.

And this user search intent can be informational can be navigational or maybe commercial or transactional. And once you break your keyword in these different categories of search intent, you can write different blog posts or articles around them, and then you can interlink or join them together in a content hub.

And as a general measure, to improve the relevancy of your content, you can add various graphics. You can add latest information and relevant statics for the keyword that you are writing about. And a small factor of this relevancy also deals with the readability of the content. If you have all the information which is actually

relevant for the user search intent and the focus keyword, but you are not able to read that

because of some of the wrong choices you made, then search engines will not be able to consider your content as relevant, and they won’t be able to rank you higher in search engine results.

So while writing your content, make sure you focus on the relevancy of the user search intent, not how long the content is or how many times you have repeated the focus of the targeted keyword.
